Courageously Living the Gospel

Goal:  Parish will enhance or establish family ministries to respond to the diverse needs of families by Pentecost 2020.

Strategies for Our Parish of Corpus Christi:

1. Work with young married couples to engage them more in the Church by September 2019
2. Revamp New Parishioner Welcoming Process by January 2020
3. Expand the Marriage Ministry to reach out to younger couples throughout the year by March 2020
4. Revamp the Baptismal Preparation Classes by September 2019
5. Establish a Bereavement Ministry Team by May 2020

Goal:  Parish will establish and/or ensure youth ministry opportunities by July 1, 2020.

Strategies for Our Parish of Corpus Christi:

1. Hold 5 - 7 youth focussed events during the 2019-2020 School Year
2. Increase parental involvement in youth ministry by Fall 2019
3. Install 10-15 volunteers for youth ministry by Spring 2020
4. Encourage mutual cooperation with other ministries in which collaboration will enhance youth ministry by January 2020
5. Reach out to Spanish speaking community to encourage participation in youth ministry by August 2019

Goal:  Parish will equip parishioners as Missionary Disciples who are inspired to invite and accompany others by Pentecost 2020.

Strategies for Our Parish of Corpus Christi:

1. Establish a weekend Mass greeting ministry by June 2019
2. Establish a quarterly prayer breakfast for the parishioners to gather for a faith filled meal by September 2019
3. Establish 20-25 small faith sharing groups by February 2020
4. Research the Alpha Course for Catholics for implementation in the parish by Pentecost 2020
