Family Sessions of Finding a Friend in Jesus – Sacramental Preparation Year 2
One Sunday per month in the afternoon, children that completed year 1 of Sacramental preparation through Faith Formation or first grade at Corpus Christi Catholic School, and are entering second grade in Faith Formation, Corpus Christi Catholic School or Sacramental Preparation year 2 attend along with their parents/legal adult the family sessions of Finding a Friend in Jesus Year 2 from 4:00 pm until 5:45 pm. Second Graders and their parents/adult meet in the parish center. Older students and their parents/adults meet in the Media Center.

- Sun, March 4 – We Celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist
- Sat, March 31 – First Communion Retreat- We Receive the Body and Blood of Christ. Retreat starts in the parish center at 8:30am until12:30pm
- Sat, April 7 – *Practice for Easter Vigil – 9 am Church English group and 10:30 am Spanish group

NOTE: The dates with (*) are only for un-baptized adults and un-baptized children of catechetical age preparing to receive ALL the Sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist)
Assignments for the First Communion Masses will be done in January 2012. The rehearsal dates are subject to change.
Vocation Chalice
Families with children preparing for all the Sacraments of Initiation or for Eucharist for the First Time will have an opportunity to take home a special chalice. The Vocation Chalice will be given at one of the Masses. The family will pray together each day for the gift of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. A sign up sheet will be available at the Finding a Friend in Jesus Year 2 family sessions.
