Respect Life

Mission Statement:
The Mission of the Respect Life Committee is to promote the Gospel of Life through Prayer, Education and Action in order to transform the culture and change hearts.  We will encourage our fellow parishioners to live out these challenges and uphold them to the wider community and the world.

Goals:
Prayer- To pray monthly at the Abortion clinic as a group; To pray for Life with groups from the Parish (i.e., Religious Education, Youth Group, etc.); To insert prayers into the bulletin for our families to take home; Invite others to Prayer Services at the Parish for all aspects of Life issues; prayer at Adoration after our meetings

Education- To put information in the bulletin on a weekly or bi-weekly basis; To hold presentations for the Parish on Respect Life Issues by inviting educated and experienced individuals to come and present to the community; To spread the truth of the evil of abortion to others, especially at the Clinic (handing out brochures and talking to them)

Action- To offer Sidewalk Counseling at the clinic to mothers in need; To support Prison Ministry in our prayers and with material goods (such as clothing and toiletries); Babysitting for families with high needs children and supporting Catholic Charities in any way we can
